children’s book by Kristín Steinsdóttir og Halla Sólveig Thorgeirsdóttir

the book

This is a translation of the Icelandic book “Hver étur ísbirni?” (“Who eats polar bears?”). Every winter the young seagull, Rissa, and her family fly from Iceland to Greenland. There are all kinds of animals gathering – seals, whales, walruses and fish –  and they have so much fun. Unfortunately there are no polar bears and Rissa really wants to see one. Therefore, she flies away with her sister in search for the polar bears.
